Expressions of Interest for Inter-County Management positions

Galway GAA is now inviting expressions of interest for the following inter-county management positions:

In addition to direct applications, nominations may also be submitted through our clubs, with the consent of the nominee.

The closing date for all submissions is Friday, August 8th 2025, send to secretary.galway@gaa.ie

We would like to take this opportunity to formally express our gratitude and appreciation to Fergal Healy, Derek Savage, Neil McHugh and their respective management teams for their outstanding leadership and dedication over the past two years.

Galway GAA Chairperson Paul Bellew commented: “We have been extremely fortunate to have people of the calibre of Derek Savage and Neil McHugh and their management teams guiding our young footballers over the last couple of years. They have an unwavering commitment to the future of Galway football as demonstrated through their involvement at academy and club level before taking on these roles. They have had a hugely positive effect on developing talent in Galway with the benefits of this already identifying itself at senior intercounty level this year. I want to thank them for their dedication and professionalism over the past couple of years.”
