The Galway Sports Stars banquet in the Galway Bay Hotel on Saturday night January 27th, will be dominated by the sport of hurling with the county’s glorious run to All-Ireland success celebrated with three different awards – Joe Canning, Player of the Year; Micheál Donoghue, Manager of the Year; and Galway receiving the Team of the Year honour. In the Special Achievement category county champions Liam Mellows’, winning their first county championship in 47, years are acknowledged while one of the county’s greatest ever exponents of the game, Athenry’s P J Molloy will be honoured with the Galway Sports Stars Hall of Fame award for 2017.

Clarinbridge GAA strategic Plan was launched at a Function Night held in Paddy Burkes on Friday 23rd of June.
"Bridge to the Future" is a strategic plan for the club, compiled over the last number of months, in consultation with the Clarinbridge community at large. It details the Club's vision for Clarinbridge GAA and focuses on the five key areas of Coaching, Player Development, Facilities and Infrastructure, Social & Cultural and Finance.
Special thanks to County Chairman Pat Kearney and County Secretary John Hynes for attending and being so supportive of the Club's efforts.
